Rites of Passage for Teenagers
Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own rite of passage as a way of orientating to the importance of healthy, intentional rites of passage for our teenagers.
Learning the components of a rite of passage and gaining a sense of the value a community-based rite of passage can have for both the family and young person transitioning from a child to a young adult.
We need to remember that adulthood needs to look and feel worthwhile, so that adolescents want to grow up… which has a lot to do with the adults around them… as per usual, it is up to you and me!!
